Here is a FYI...  When you want to do a link to something in the WIKI, you have to copy the address link into the blog.  You can't use the square brackets like you do in the WIKI.  It's to bad because that would be really cool if it did.  So for example:  Dark horse syndicate:  is at http://www.members.shadow-hq.com/ShadowForceWiki/tabid/742/topic/Dark%20Horse%20Syndicate/language/en-US/Default.aspx

To create a web link to that page would be as follows.  Type the Dark Horse Syndicate.  Highlight it.  Click the little icon that looks kind of like a chain link.  (that can edit or create links.)  Paste the link in the URL location, click OK and your done.  It's a bit more work, but such is life.

Do I have intentions with this blog?....0.0 NOPE! X3 What can readers expect?...THE UNEXPECTED....no wait, that's too cliched....drat...*grumble*grumble*

I always knew when I signed up for the UNSN that I would face death. I knew that my friends could die and I knew when I went through officer training that I would have to order men to their deaths, so needless to say I was always prepared to see people die. But I always expected them to die FOR their country not BECAUSE of it.

I'm not entirely sure what's happened groundside, we're still reeling from the shock of being declared traitors, but I do know that we are now exiles from a world that we once protected. I know that this doesn't bother me as much as it should....I believed in a world where people could live equally. That's what should have happened after the Second Cold War....instead political corruption is rampant, and I feel no sympathy for a world and its governent that can't offer asylum to those who are different.

Therefore the Shadow Force has decided to succeed from the UEG....We are traitors to a world we loved, and we are deserters of a military that we gave our...

Right then, now that I've got your attention, I would just like to say that I like painkillers....also Halo and the entire Final Fantasy series (With the possible exception of tactics) SUCKS!!

And now down to important things.

For example, how much I dislike governments. See we throw a nice coup to get this new guy in office and it turns out that he sucks only marginally less than the old guy in office...also he's a racist. HOW FUN IS THAT?!! and I'm beginning to wonder how well the DF and her turbolasers would function in atmo.   Anyways Archer's forging of paperwork should keep us out of trouble for a while, and hopefully the rest of this mission will be the milk run it was always supposed to be.

We can also get that Arima investigation out of the way and figure out a few more things about the weird things going on aboard the DF. I wonder if Ghost Hunters International will investigate a space cruiser.

I should call them...

I wish to all higher beings that I was Correllian and that odds didn't bother me. But no, the higher powers did not see fit to grant me that wish, they wanted me to suffer.

I mean really, you'd think that Mister I-look-good-in-a-flightsuit......err I mean Mister I'm-going-to-shove-out-the-nearest-airlock-soon (Note to self, do not write entries when angry)...could bring me good news. Something like "I just saved a bunch of money on my astromech insurance by switching to Geico, oh and I just intercepted a holo transmission that says the war's over and we can go home." If he came back with that kinda information I'd totally make out with him right there......Ask him to marry me......take him to the nearest bar and drink him under the table.

But NOOOO, now I've got to figure out how the hell we're going to get through this. And to think I could've spent a nice life on earth with my evil stepmother and whoever she picked out for a husband for me. I would've made a good housewife, don't you think. (Don't answer that)

I am resigning my comission and settling down with a nice farmboy and living out my days without ever touching a plane or a veritech again. I think I shall have ten children and name them after video game characters and they will grow up and marry nice country girls or boys and never ever go through a battle like the ones I've been through. Then I shall die and be buried like a normal person without a twenty one gun salute or a missing man formation.

...And if you believed any of that you obviously don't know me very well.

I am a little tired of this being wounded thing, it totally cramps my style. Worst of all I have no one to unload my misery on, blech! I usually do that to Wave, but he's off being heroic somewhere else. Which of course sucks for me. What I wouldn't give for that Bacta stuff from Star Wars. Also being wounded puts my mortality into perspective and that makes me think that I need to get laid...badly. (And if anyone tries to take me up on that comment I...

Okay,  maybe not everything. I mean I do like coffee, and chocolate, and [ name deleted]...a certain pilot that shall remain unmentioned.

Right, none of you really need to know that last part.

I just wish Spec had told me that when I signed up I was here to go through hell, get back, then go through hell and get stuck there. That's how bad this routine space jaunt has been. And now the Chancellor is sending crazy orders up here that I'm not too sure that I'm going to follow, heck the worst that'll happen if I don't is me being dishonorably discharged and if that happens I believe I'm going to become a mercenary....or a bounty hunter.

Anyways, back on topic (sorta), I'd be the last person to complain about an injury but the one I got below decks is pretty bad, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep a straight face up, but I really can't afford to break down and spend the time needed to recover, my crew needs me, and the civillians depending on us for protection need me. Christ, I hate heavy...

....I mean injured! Me! ON MY OWN SHIP!!!

God, how lame can you get! I need to get out of this stupid Sick Bay bed and back onto the bridge so I can oversee the combat, but that stupid nurse has had his eye on me for a while. Appearantly they realize that I have a history of escaping from sick bay.  *grumble*grumble* At least he's cute...

Anyways I should check in with the bridge and find out just how long I can relax here before I absoulutely have to return to the battle. Darn does it feel nice to relax. >.<

I mean, doesn't that suck? You have to go through hell to live the darned thing and then it ends just when you're getting used to it you have to go to hell for eternity.

Or at least I probably am....

Anyways we were having a nice little space jaunt to Mars when this lori-class ship appeared (which you probably all ready know if you've been paying attention, but here's a recap for those who haven't). Anyways this ship is totally tricked out, lots of classified stuff that I'm not allowed to talk about and all. I really do have to figure out how they made all those modifications though, 'cause I want them on my ship.

Getting back to the point: This cruiser has somehow managed to stock enough fighters to outnumber us, and at the same time the convoy has had to stop because of mass engine and nav system failures. This has put a limit on my tactical options and I'm a little worried about the outcome of this battle. I mean it's a pretty bad situation we've got here, we got tossed into this...

So there I am innocently trying to do my job on the bridge of MY SHIP when Wave and Alexis decide to have this...this...I dunno, lovers spat or something. God! Why the bridge?! Why?! Not only did the crew and I have to listen to them, but it wasn't like we could just break them up and make them leave. I mean how akward is that?!

To make it worse it's going to be all around the ship by tomorrow and then I'll have to listen to a recap of the darned thing all over again. It wasn't like I was not there, I was, I DO NOT NEED a play by play. Seriously people, why are lover's spats so interesting and why must they always take place in public places? I did NOT join the Space Navy so I could witness this...If I wanted to see this I would have stayed home on Maxwell base and watched my parents.

And to make it worse barely a day into our journey to Mars I discover that we've got a frickin' troublemaker in our convoy. How great is that? (

Gah! It's been a long day...or past couple of days, I haven't really gotten much sleep lately, so I'm just going to pass out and wish that I could rant about all the classified stuff that's giving me hell in here.

Yeah, just thought I'd play with this thing before I do anything serious with it...Anyways. I like the idea of a blog, it makes us seem all sophisticated and all, Kudos to Fast!
