Shadow squadron/force official time line.

• In January of 2014, war with the Zentradi forces is officially over.  Though it is a victory, the costs to humanity are huge.  Plans to protect humanity are started.


• in March of 2015, the Robotech Expeditionary Force is started.  The plan is to send a large force to find the Masters, the mysterious group behind the first Robotech war.


• in 2016 advance  scout vessels lay out the navigational surveys that are required to find the masters home world.


• in July 2018, Captain Nautica receives his first command.  He is given command of the new squad, Shadow Squadron.  They are used to put down many Anti Unification League rebellions on earth.  The initial offering of Mecha in the form of VF-1r's came later that month.


• in November 2018, the Squads general code of conduct was established and approved by the high command.


• June 2 2019, planning into a heavy cruiser was started.


• October 2019-June 2021, Shadow squadron is in joint missions with the UNSN Pegasus.


• Dec 19, 2019.  Original plans for a heavy cruiser are put on hold.  A new design for a carrier is used instead and the project (code name Lori) is commenced.


• July 15th 2021, Project Lori is finished and ready for space trials.


• Oct 25th the Carrier Lori enters active service and sent to the outer edge of the solar system.


• Nov 27th 2021, the new VF-4 Lightning prototype is distributed to the Shadows for combat testing.  It is used along side the other fighters already in use.


• Dec 23 2021 the second carrier is launched, the DarkFire.  It is pressed into service around earth.


• Dec 29 2021, after many success the Shadow squad received a defeat.  Rogue Zentradi and AUL shock troopers attack the main Shadow squadron base.  Even though the troops posted there fight valiantly, the base and all in it are destroyed.  All in all, there are 136 casualties for the Shadows.


• May 7 2022, the DarkFire, on patrol near mars, attacks and captures an Oboroth-class destroyer named the Sun Dance.  It had been used to disrupt supplies going to the newly established Mars Orbiting Space Platform


• August 2022, repairs to the Sun Dance are completed and it is christened the Lady JoHannah


• Dec 4 2022, SDF-3 launches and takes it's position as the flagship of the Robotech Expeditionary Force, marking the official start of the "Pioneer" mission.


• Jan 2023, Shadow Squadron is expanded and redeployed as a force.  At the beginning it combines Air Force and Space Navy.


• August 2023, Angel Squad, a special operations anti-terrorist group is added to the Shadow Force. 


• Sept. 2023, the Apoch is launched.  It becomes the flag ship for Admiral Nautica.


• May 2 2024, Mars Orbiting Space Platform attacked and all on board are killed.  this is the start of a very heated battle between Chaos's AUL forces and the Shadow Force.


• May 6 2024, the Lady JoHannah is captured and all personnel are killed.


• May 12 2024, the Lady JoHannah is rammed into the DarkFire causing many casualties and much damage.  The Lady JoHannah is completely destroyed.


• May 12 2024, the Apoch arrives and rescues all survivors.


• May 15 2024, the Mars Orbiting Space Platform is recaptured by Shadow forces.


• May 20 2024, the Shadow Force are declared enemies of earth.  this is mostly because of their allegiance with the Chancellor and the breakaway territories.


• Luna base becomes the temporary HQ for Shadow forces.


• Oct 30 2024, the DarkFire repairs are complete at Macross space station and relaunched.


• Nov 02 2024, Main space battle between Southern Cross and the Shadow Force.  The ensuing battle sees half a dozen space ships and many many fighters attack each other.  Shadows would have lost if it wasn't for the new reflex canon on Luna  the Cannon was fired once damaging the space station heavily.  but it turned the tide of battle in the Shadows favor.  In the end Luna is attacked and destroyed.  the Apoch burns up in earths atmosphere and all the southern cross ships are destroyed.


• Nov 12 2024, the DarkFire comes under heavy fire when it attacks the Earth mecha factory they manage to capture the factory and strike a major blow to the Southern Cross fighting ability.


• Nov 17 2024, unidentified Alien space craft using extremal powerful weapons attack and disable a large number of fighters.


• Nov 18 2024, Senator Martin calls for peace talks in Monument City  The lead group sent to set up a security zone for the Chancellors arrival is attacked.  Senator Martin proves he desires peace by having his forces lend aid. 


• Nov, 22 2024 ultimately the peace talks never happen because rogue elements in Southern Cross attack the Chancellors convoy.  He manages to get to safety and calls in support.  The DarkFire, in what can only be called a last ditch offensive, commits all there military assets.  They land in three locations in the city and quickly have the southern cross on the run.  the ensuing battle rages for a couple days but is over before Senator Martin can get reinforcements to help him.


• Nov, 25 2024 the Chancellor corners the leaders in Parliament and once the place is secured goes in to talk to the dissidents.  They try to broker a peace agreement, but the Chancellor refuses to talk to them and ends up burning Parliament down with the leaders in it.


• Nov, 30 2024.  The Chancellor sets himself up as the leader of the Provisional Government and is given sweeping powers to deal with the terrorist activities.


• Jan, 3 2034. With peace established under the rule of the Chancellor, Shadow Force is again doing escort duty between Earth and Mars.
